My musical journey

Discover the story behind the music, from my earliest inspirations to my current projects and passions.

From the sixties to now

Music has always been a big part of my life. I am now in my seventies so my earliest recollections of music are from my teenage years in the 1960s. I was heavily influenced by iconic bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Small Faces and Jimi Hendrix, as well as the soulful sounds of Motown. Later, artists like Dire Straits, Queen, Genesis, and David Bowie further shaped my musical landscape.

Learning and creating

I learned to play the guitar in my teens and have played ever since, mainly acoustic. In the last few years, I have play electric guitar in a band called Crossfire. Until a few years ago, I had just played cover versions, but now I have been writing my own material and have set up a music studio at home to record and produce my own music.

My unique sound

The music I write is either solo material for me on an acoustic guitar or rock songs for my band, Crossfire. This duality allows me to explore different facets of my musical expression, from intimate acoustic pieces to powerful rock anthems.

"I really enjoy playing open mic nights either solo on my acoustic guitar or with the band."
